Anabolic Steroids are sythetic substances similiar to the male hormone testosterone. “Anabolic” refers to muscle-building, and “androgenic” refers to increased masculine characteristics. “Steroids” refers to the class of drugs. These drugs are legally avialable only by perscription. This perscription is given to treat conditions that occur when the body produces abnormally. Anabolic Steroids are given to help people with certain kinds of anemia and men who don't produce enough testosterone. If someone abuses the anabolic steroids, it can lead to irreversible, serious health problems.




The most common anabolic steroids used today are:



  • anadrol
  • oxandrin
  • dianabol
  • winstrol
  • deca-durabolin
  • equipoise


Anabolic Steroids are used by:

  • pills
  • injection
  • take 2 or more steroids at once which is called stacking
  • provided in gels or creams that are rubbed on the skin
